In the dead of winter, Illuminate Adelaide shines bright.

The festival weaves together art, light, music, and technology, transporting the city into a divine otherworldly dimension.

From July 4 to 21, within, between, and upon the city’s walls, the Illuminate Adelaide program unfolds with a curation of free and ticketed events by local, national, and international artists.

Amongst these are a selection of multi-sensory experiences that blur the line between immersive art and festivities, set to get the pulse racing.

While the rest go to sleep, here are five Illuminate Adelaide experiences not to miss.
